Designing Labels
It's easy to
get us the image for your disk label. Once the label is ready, email it
to us so that we can review the artwork.
Option 1.
Standard
Graphics Formats. If you use standard computer
graphics programs, we accept the following formats: Illustrator (ai),
Photoshop (psd), Acrobat (pdf), Publisher (pub), jpg, gif, bmp, tif, or
png. If you export your original arwork to one of these common
formats, be sure to print out a copy of the artwork you send us.
That way you will see what we see. Here are some templates in
Adobe Illustrator and

2.
SureThing CD Label Software. We think the
easiest way to
design
a CD label is to use the SureThing CD Label software. This PC
based program is the best label software we've seen.
We don't sell
the SureThing program; we just recommend it. To

Option 3. Word template.
If
you have a simple label, just paste the label into a Word document and
email it to us. To download a template in Word, click here.
After you download
the template you can just type your text and paste in your graphics.
When you are finished, just email
the CD Labeler file to us. The SureThing program does not always embed
your pictures in the SureThing file, so be sure to include a copy of
any underlying graphics file (jpg, bmp, eps, etc.)

Label Options
Here are the best ways to get a great image on your CD.
Color high resolution
laser labels. Our most popular choice. We use a 1200 dpi color
laser printer to create a full color image.
Thermal black to silver CD. We use a
thermal printer to print black directly to the surface of a silver CD.
This approach is great for labels with simple graphics and text.
Silk Screen or Offset Printing. We offer up
to 5 color silk screen or offset printing directly to the CD
surface. This option is usually appropriate for a turnaround time
of 2-3 days on runs of 500 or more.
